Overview |
When upgrading to new (major) versions of Omnify, you must install the latest Omnify Server applications as well as upgrade your existing databases.
Database upgrades are performed using the Omnify Server Wizard.
To upgrade a database, you can either select the Upgrade to 5.0 option from the Operation Selection page, or select the Upgrade to 5.0 link from the Navigation Pane.

The Database Upgrade page will list all selected databases (from the Database Selection Page).
For each database, the system will display the database type and version.
A Status column will indicate the database status as well as any issues.
Note: you must upgrade the Metadata, Documents, and Toolkit databases to 5.0.

To start the upgrade process, click the Upgrade button.
When the upgrade is complete, the status and version fields will update.
