The Omnify Reporter provides you with the following reporting capability:
Standard Reports
Signoff Reports
Due/Overdue Reports
Audit Reports
BOM Explorer
Cost Rollup Report (BOM)
Shortage Report (BOM)
Document Packager (BOM)
Status Weight Checks (BOM)
Database Views (Creation and Viewing)
You can launch the Reporter directly from the Omnify Server Home Page.



The Reporter section contains a link to the main Reporter application; however you can also launch individual reports directly from the Home Page.





The Reporter can also be launched from the Object Navigator on the Home Page of Omnify Desktop.



The BOM Reports can also be launched from the Parts List/BOM page of the Desktop Item Master form.


The Reporter contains the following key sections:



Area Description
BOM Report Links Access to all standard BOM Reports
Standard Report Links Access to all standard reports
Custom Links/Tools Customizable links and links to other Omnify applications
Reporter Home Page Customizable web page that contains links to all reports and selected LiveData objects


The BOM Report links will automatically launch the specified BOM report and allow you to select a BOM item.



The Standard Report Links area allows you to navigate to the desired report.



The Custom Links/Tools area can be customized from the User Preferences form.



The next section provides details on creating custom links.
The Custom Links/Tools area can be customized from the User Preferences form.



To customize the links, select the Custom Report Links tab.



To add a custom link, click the Add button.



From the Add Custom Report Link dialog, set the Text and Link (URL) for the custom link and then click the Add button.



Administrators can add links to multiple users by clicking the Apply To button.



You can then select the users you wish to assign the link to and click the Apply button.



This will apply the current custom link list to the specified users.

Custom links will appear in the Custom Links/Tools area of the Reporter Home Page.




The Reporter Home Page contains links to all of the standard reports.



To launch any of the reports, select the desired report from the drop lists.





The Reporter Home Page also contains an area for custom links as well as LiveData objects.



To add links, select the Preferences link.



To customize the links, select the Custom Report Links tab.



To add a custom link, click the Add button.



From the Add Custom Report Link dialog, set the Text and Link (URL) for the custom link and then click the Add button.

To add LiveData Objects to the Home Page, select the Preferences link.



To customize the links, select the LiveData Reports tab.



To add a LiveData Object, click the Add button.



From the Add LiveData Report dialog, select the LiveData Object, set the location to Reporter for the custom link and then click the Add button.



Administrators can add LiveData Reports to multiple users by clicking the Apply To button.



You can then select the users you wish to assign the reports to and click the Apply button.



This will apply the current report list to the specified users.

LiveData reports will appear in the LiveData Reports area of the Reporter Home Page.
