Database views are stored database queries that can be used for reporting and data viewing by Omnify and 3rd party applications.
The Reporter provides a form to view the contents of any database view.
Views are managed (created, modified, and removed) in the Omnify ViewManager.
Refer to the ViewManager User's Guide for more information on managing database views.

To open/display a database view, click the Open a View from the Reporter Home Page using the Reports pane in the navigator or the Open View hyperlink in the Reporter Links section.
This will open the Display/Search Database Views page of the ViewManager.
The View drop list will display all available database views.
Select the desired database view to display the contents.
You can sort any of the fields in the view by clicking on the column header hyperlink.
You can filter the data by specifying a search field and value.

To launch the ViewManager, click the Manage Views from the Reporter Home Page using the Reports pane in the navigator or the Create/Manage Views hyperlink in the Reporter Links section.
Note: to be able to modify views, you must have the appropriate permissions enabled for your user.
