Overview |
The Home/Search Page of the Training Administrator allows you to search on any training items in the Omnify database.
To display the Home/Search Page, select the Home/Search page link from the Navigation Pane.

Searching for Training Items |

When searching on training items, you can provide field filters.
To filter on a specific field (or all fields); select the field from the Search Field drop list.
To specify a field value, type the match string in the Search Value field.
When specifying a search value, you can provide wildcards (* or %).
If you do not specify a wildcard, the system will automatically include them.
For example: "quality" will appear to the search as "*quality*".
Searches for names starting with qual.
Searches for names ending with qual.
Searches for names that contain qual (same as typing *qual*).
To execute a search, click the Apply button.
The results list will update to display all matching training items.
The Training Administrator provides searching on standard and custom training item fields.
When adding users to training items, users can be added based on User Groups, Business Units, and Custom User Fields.
The Training Administrator allows you to search on these fields.
When searching on these fields, the results list will include the additional column.
Note: searching on these fields will result in training items that contain any users from the searched groupings, and not only users from those groups.
If you are displaying the Users from those training items, the results may include users that do not belong to the group.

The Results list will list all matching training items that meet the specified search parameters.
The Training Name column will contain a hyperlink to open the Training Item.
The Trainer column will contain a hyperlink to open the User form in Desktop.
If the Include Users option is enabled, the Users column will display the status of each user on the training item.

The Home/Search Page provides the following search options:
Include Users |
If this option is enabled, the search results will display all users assigned to the listed training items |
Include Recurring Items |
If this option is enabled, the search results will include training items assigned as "Recurring" |
Include Rev Change Items |
If this option is enabled, the search results will include training items assigned as "Recurring - Rev Change" |
Include All Revs |
If this option is enabled, the search results will list all revisions of matching training items |

The Home/Search Page provides the following display options:
Status |
If this option is enabled, the search results will include a Status column that will include the total number of users, users completed, and percentage complete for each item listed. |
Summary |
If this option is enabled, the search results will include a Summary section that will include the total number of users, users completed, and percentage complete from all items listed. |
Custom Fields |
If this option is enabled, custom training item fields will be displayed in the search results list. |
If this option is enabled, the search results will include a Status column that will include the total number of users, users completed, and percentage complete for each item listed.
