This section describes some of the enhancements made in Service Pack 1 of Empower 5.0.
Service Pack 1 now includes the standard Omnify Toolkit module. The Omnify Toolkit provides tools, utilities, libraries, and an application development platform used by Omnify to build all 3rd party interfaces/integrations and custom reports. The Omnify Toolkit includes a Toolkit Administrator module that provides a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for setup, options, and testing of all custom interfaces and reports.

The Toolkit Administrator module link can be included on the Omnify Server Home Page.

A login and proper permissions are required. Toolkit Administrator permission can be granted under the Permissions settings in the Omnify Administrator.

Customers with 3rd party interfaces/integrations, customer reports, data check routines, etc. will receive a custom configuration installation of the Omnify Toolkit.
Many server settings are controlled in an XML configuration file (web.config). Service Pack 1 now includes a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for modifying settings. The User Interface can be accessed from the Omnify Server Home Page.

The User Interface requires a password to modify the settings.

A qualified Omnify Application Engineer can provide you with the password and appropriate setup/training.

Update/Fix Description
License Type License Monitor now displays the license type (Floating or Named-User)

Many system options and settings are now controlled by XML option files. For customers requiring customizations, an XML file can be provided by a qualified Omnify Application Engineer that will require no changes to the standard product.
You can now add/load documents from a specified folder.

When adding documents from a folder, the system will list all files and allow the user to select the files to load.

Data field matching options are available that will enable the system to automatically detect new versions and updates as well as new documents to be added. Documents can be added to items directly or assigned as redline changes on Changes/ECOs. Note: when adding to a Change/ECO, you can interactively select which affected item will be assigned to each file.
